Who we are
Weball is a free platform connecting women's football fans with pubs showing the game across the UK. You can contact us at helloweball@gmail.com.
What data we collect
We collect data in two ways:
- Pub registration form — when a pub lists on Weball, we collect the pub name, address, contact name, email address, and phone number. This is used solely to list the pub on our platform and contact them about their listing.
- Analytics cookies — if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how people use the site (pages visited, time on site, location by city). We never collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
How we use your data
- Pub contact details are used to manage listings and send fixture updates. We will never sell or share your data with third parties.
- Analytics data is used to understand how the site is being used and improve it.
- If you ticked the newsletter checkbox on registration, we may send you occasional emails about upcoming fixtures and Weball updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies
We only use cookies if you explicitly accept them. We use Google Analytics (GA4) which sets cookies to track anonymous usage data. If you decline cookies, no tracking cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load.
You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email us at helloweball@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep pub contact details for as long as the pub is listed on Weball. If you ask to be removed, we will delete your data within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest version.
